Veritas Education is currently recruiting Unqualified Cover Supervisors to work within a number of supportive and welcoming secondary schools across Penrith and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, tutors, teaching assistants, or anyone with experience working with young people who is interested in gaining valuable classroom experience.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
\n
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
\n
• Keep students engaged and on task
\n
• Support pupils across a range of subjects and year groups
\n
• Gain first-hand experience within secondary education
\n

Confident and reliable individualsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working with young people is desirableA positive attitude and willingness to learnGraduates and aspiring teachers are encouraged to apply
