Senior Authorised Person

Senior Authorised Person (SAP) - SSE/SSEN Authorised Im recruiting for a leading firm, which specialises in power projects from LV up to EHV, great benefits and exciting projects. Essential Requirements Must currently hold, or have previously held, SSE/SSEN Senior Authorised Person (SAP) authorisation under SSEN Safety Rules. Authorised to operate on 132kV networks as a minimum. Experience issuing and receiving safety documentation, including Permits to Work, Sanctions for Test, and Limitation of Access documentation. Proven experience carrying out HV switching, isolation, commissioning, and outage activities on live electrical networks. Strong understanding of SSEN operational procedures and safety rules. Experience working on transmission and/or distribution substations. Ability to work independently and make operational decisions within a live network environment. Full UK driving licence.Desirable Requirements SSE Category 2 and/or Category 3 Authorisation. Authorisations with additional DNOs or National Grid. Experience on 275kV and/or 400kV systems. Substation construction, commissioning, or maintenance experience. Previous experience supporting major transmission or renewable energy projects.Important Please note that candidates must hold, or have previously held, SSE/SSEN authorisation.
