I’m currently representing a leading Engineering and Manufacturing company based in Manchester and they’re looking for a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis due to growth in the business.   Project Manager Job Description Lead rail projects from cradle to grave, ensuring they meet budget, programme, quality and customer requirements. Work collaboratively to improve performance by promoting safe working practices, efficient processes and continuous improvement. Understand and interpret contractual requirements, coordinated resources and engaged stakeholders to deliver technically sound and compliant project outcomes. Identify and develop new business opportunities by preparing quotations, supporting tender submissions and driving commercial growth. Monitor costs-maintained compliance with company policies and UK health and safety legislation, and encouraged a high-performance culture across project teams.  Project Manager Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Experience managing a range of high and low voltage rail installation projects, including substations, transformer replacements etc. Experienced delivering electrical works in trackside and depot environments. Obtains relevant electrical qualifications to a minimum of NVQ Level 3. Strong electrical background to deliver safe, high-quality installations across varied rail infrastructure projects.
