Principal Systems Engineer – Future Combat Air - 1654\n\nLocation: Luton, UK (Capability Green)\n Contract Length: 12 Months\n Rate: £84.63 UMBRELLA\n\nHours: 37 hours per week\n Working Pattern: 80–100% onsite (4–5 days per week)\n Clearance Required: SC Clearance eligible and Sole UK Nationality required\n\nMy client has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join the team supporting the development of advanced aerospace systems as part of the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP).\n\nThis role will focus on supporting the development of system requirements, including design and interface definition activities to assist engineering teams with design and integration activities.\n\nThe successful candidate may also support activities across integration, qualification, verification, and validation at later stages of the programme.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport the development of system requirements.\nAssist with design and interface definition activities.\nSupport engineering teams with design and integration activities.\nContribute to modelling and analysis activities using Matlab and Cameo.\nWork within an agile engineering environment.\nSupport activities across the full engineering lifecycle.\nRequired Experience\n\nExperience within Systems Engineering in an aerospace or defence environment.\nKnowledge of system requirements development and interface definition.\nExperience using Matlab and Cameo.\nUnderstanding of the full engineering lifecycle.\nExperience working within agile environments.\nEligible for SC Clearance.\nPlease note this role requires 4–5 days per week onsite in Luton.\n\nThis is an opportunity to work alongside subject matter experts across advanced aerospace and electronic warfare technologies on one of the UK’s flagship future combat air programmes
