We’re looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join our friendly production team, helping to create our award-winning chocolate, jams and hot sauces. What you’ll be doing

\n

Working alongside our Operations Manager and production team, you’ll help keep our kitchen running smoothly by:

\n
    \n
  • Producing high-quality chocolate, jams and hot sauces
  • \n
  • Supporting production, packing and dispatch
  • \n
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards
  • \n
  • Carrying out routine cleaning and equipment checks
  • \n
  • Monitoring product quality and recording production information
  • \n
  • Assisting with stock organisation and inventory
  • \n
  • Helping us continually improve the way we work
  • \n

No two days are exactly the same, and you’ll play an important role in ensuring every product leaves us to the highest possible standard.

  • Enjoys practical, hands-on work

  • Takes pride in producing quality products

  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • \n
  • Works well as part of a team while also being able to work independently
  • \n
  • Is organised and able to stay calm under pressure
  • \n
  • Has a positive attitude and enjoys learning new skills
  • \n
  • Understands the importance of food hygiene and health & safety
  • \n

\n

Experience in food manufacturing or a professional kitchen is welcome, but we’re just as interested in finding someone with the right attitude. Full training will be provided.

Essential

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene (or willingness to achieve this before starting)
  • \n
  • Strong attention to detail
  • \n
  • Good communication skills
  • \n
  • Ability to follow processes accurately
  • \n
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • \n
  • Experience working in food production or manufacturing
  • \n
\n

Desirable

    \n
  • Experience working to SALSA standards
  • \n
  • Full UK driving licence
  • \n
\n
