An innovative and inclusive secondary school in South East London is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Health & Social Care Teacher to join its successful vocational and social sciences provision from September 2026.

The Role

  • Teach Health & Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5.
  • \n
  • Deliver engaging lessons that develop students' understanding of health, social care and related career pathways.
  • \n
  • Support students in achieving strong academic and vocational outcomes.
  • \n
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and enrichment opportunities.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive and high-performing department.
  • \n

The Ideal Candidate

\n
    \n
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas teaching qualification recognised by UK NARIC.
  • \n
  • Has experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary level.
  • \n
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice.
  • \n
  • Is committed to helping all students achieve their potential.
  • \n
  • Has high expectations for achievement, behaviour and attendance.
  • \n
  • This position would suit both experienced teachers and ambitious ECTs looking to join a highly supportive school with a strong commitment to staff development and student success.
