Graduate Supply Teaching Assistant

A number of friendly and supportive primary schools in Islington are looking for Graduate Teaching Assistants to support on a flexible supply basis.

This opportunity is perfect for graduates who are looking to gain school-based experience before committing to teacher training or applying for a full-time role in September. Candidates should be open to working across different schools initially to build confidence and broaden their experience.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a graduate with an interest in education or teaching
\n
• Be enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable
\n
• Be happy to work across different schools and year groups
\n
• Enjoy supporting children within the classroom
\n
• Be considering teacher training or a long-term career within education
\n
• Be available from 7am to take calls for emergency and short-notice cover
\n
• Ensure their availability diary is kept up to date, as this helps us prioritise candidates for both pre-booked work and on-the-day supply cover
