Department Supervisor | Hounslow Salary: DOE Hours: Full-time, Alternate weekends We're working with a well-respected garden centre group that's looking for a Department Supervisor to execute the running of its Sundries & Gardening department. About the role You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the Sundries & Gardening department. From supporting and motivating the team to maintaining retail standards, you'll help ensure the department is organised and delivers an excellent shopping experience. Key responsibilities Supporting the day-to-day running of the department Coaching and motivating the team to provide outstanding customer service Maintaining high standards of merchandising, stock presentation, and availability Helping to deliver sales targets and departmental KPIs Providing expert advice and guidance to customers on gardening products Supporting stock control, promotional activity, and seasonal changes across the department The ideal candidate Previous supervisory experience within a retail environment A positive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service Good knowledge of gardening products, tools, compost, chemicals, or related sundries is desired Buying or stock management experience would be beneficial but isn't essential If this sounds like an opportunity you'd like to hear more about, please get in touch with Elleanna at for a conversation
